so there is my puerto rican friend who lives in newyork and she took the airline to travel to LA recently and?
had to experienced EVEN THOUGH she is a u.s citizen born and raised she had to got to Airline immigration lines. Discrimination or Not?

Yes it sounds like it. If she provided them with State ID and did not have a connecting flight out of the country then there is no reason to be sent through immigration.
