Pet carrier for airline travel?
I have a schnauzer about 15-20lbs. What’s the best stroller/carrier for a dog her size for air trave?
Any other useful info about air travel with your pet is appreciated.

You will need to get a carrier made of plastic and tape it together, preferably with tape that says LIVE ANIMAL. If not just use some good tape and get a sticker that says LIVE ANIMAL INSIDE or something like that. Then you’ll probably have to send your dog air freight (which is extra) on the same plane your taking. But if your airline would allow you to bring him/her as a carry on then go for that. And then you might get away with one of those big purse looking carriers.

Check with the airline. All airlines have their own rules for how big a carrier must be for any animal of a certain size and only the AIRLINE can tell you… you won’t find it on Answers.

Go to overstock . com and you should be able to find a pet carrier there that would be just right for your dog. They come in all sizes . The one was $80.00 normally any where else it would have been $200.00 and they can collapse so you can store them when not in use. And get some pet calm to help her relax while on the plain. are u trying to check in the pet as a “carry-on” or as a pet in the belly of the plane? If you’re tyring to carry the dog and put under the seat (but he seems that he would be to big) then the carrier can be a soft side, but large enough for the dog to be erect & be able to stand up & turn around without any problems. also u have to have a health certificate that’s dated within 10 days of the departure date. Oh also the carrier has to be FAA approved and must state that on the carrier.
