I don’t like to be a dampener, but your request is not realistic! If you do happen to find someone willing to offer you their “buddy pass”, the times you want to travel are probably the busiest, and all flights will be very full of full fare passengers.
You would be better trying to find the means to book your flights at the available price, at only 9 days out are likely to be high, which is what I suspect you have found, or plan to travel later.

1) nobody is going to give a stranger on the web a buddy pass (least of all me)
2) did you think that it wouldn’t do you any good anyway, as full as the flights are going to be?
3) try Airtran

No one is going to give a buddy pass to a stranger. Also if someone I knew asked me for a buddy pass to travel on those dates I would tell them no. There is a very small chance you would get on a plane as a stand by passenger on a buddy pass. I would say just try a lot of different website comparison shop. Try travelocity, cheaptickets, orbitz. The longer you wait the higher the prices are going to go up.

I agree with the other posters here – I would never give a Buddy Pass to a stranger.
And if a friend or relative asked, I would warn them about flying standby at that time of the year.
